Booking Conditions

Your place is reserved on receipt of your payment. Please note that refunds are not available.

All participants are advised to bring a copy of their confirmation with them on the day, to ensure the fastest possible entry.

By booking and registering for the conference, you agree for The Canmore Trust to use the data provided to administer this event. The Canmore Trust will not circulate your data to external parties without your prior consent. By answering the booking question you agree to your data being used, as covered by our Privacy Policy.

The Canmore Trust reserve the right to refuse entry to the conference, this includes, but is not limited to; being abusive to staff and members; being under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol, being unable to provide a valid proof of purchase to the event.

Filming and live streaming of the Wellbeing Conference without official sign off is strictly prohibited. If found to be in breach of this clause, then The Canmore Trust reserves the right to remove you from the conference with no refund given.

If attendees of The Canmore Trust Wellbeing Conference fail to check in, the The Canmore Trust have no obligation to issue CPD accreditation.

In the event of cancellation of the Wellbeing Conference

The Canmore Trust reserves the right to cancel the Wellbeing Conference. If the conference is cancelled, postponed or changed from face-to-face to virtual delegates will be informed via email. A full refund will be offered if the conference is cancelled or postponed. A partial refund will be given if the conference is changed from face-to-face to virtual. We regret we are unable to refund any charges incurred through booking travel, accommodation or expenses for the conference, and subsequently encourage flexible travel and accommodation to be booked.

Please note, The Canmore Trust is not responsible for any loss or damage as a result of a substitution, alteration or cancellation/postponement of an event. The Canmore Trust shall assume no liability whatsoever if this conference is cancelled, rescheduled, altered or postponed due to a fortuitous event, Act of God, unforeseen occurrence or any other event that renders performance of this conference impracticable, illegal or impossible. For purposes of this clause, a fortuitous event shall include, but not be limited to: war, fire, labour strike, extreme weather, terrorist activity or other emergencies.

Changes to the programme

While speakers and topics were confirmed at the time of publishing, circumstances beyond the control of The Canmore Trust may necessitate substitutions, alterations or cancellations of the speakers and/or topics. As such, The Canmore Trust reserves the right to alter or modify the advertised speakers and/or topics if necessary without any liability to you whatsoever. Any substitutions or alterations will be updated on the conference website as soon as possible.

Special requirements

Please note all special requirements including dietaries and special access must be finalised at least 5 working days before the conference takes place. Requests and changes after this time, cannot be guaranteed.

Dietary requirements given by attendees, will be passed onto the venue and catering services, however we cannot guarantee that catering will be prepared in an allergen free environment.

The Canmore Trust will endeavour to organise reasonable adjustments for requested special requirements.

Consent to filming

The Canmore Trust films, records and photographs the Wellbeing Conference for broadcast on, among other things, its website. By booking a place at the Wellbeing Conference you confirm your agreement that:

  • you assign to The Canmore Trust the copyright, performers' property rights and all other rights in any filming, recording or photography of you at the event for use in all media; and
  • The Canmore Trust may edit, adapt or translate (provided that to do so is not in any way disparaging) any filming or recording of you and you agree not to exercise any “moral rights” (the rights set out in sections 77 to 89 of the Copyright Designs and Patents Act 1988) you may have against The Canmore Trust (or any third parties authorised by The Canmore Trust ) in respect of any use The Canmore Trust makes of any filming or recording of you.

Liability

The Canmore Trust do not accept liability for any injuries or losses of any nature incurred by delegates and/or accompanying persons, nor for loss or damage to their luggage and/or personal belongings.
